Kevin Koellner is the Founder of Build to Suit and focuses on the firm’s sales and business development effort, simultaneously leading Focus Development, Build to Suit’s sister real estate development company. Build to Suit is a design/build focused general contractor with offices in Bettendorf and Coralville. Focus Development is a real estate development company based in Bettendorf owned by Koellner and partner Ben Logsdon, experienced in Public/Private partnerships, ground up Development, and acquisitions and value-add projects. Recent projects include the BettPlex, North Dodge Clinics for the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics and the Mills Chevy acquisition and re-development.
Koellner earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Construction Engineering from Iowa State University, founded Build to Suit in 2002, started Real Estate Management (REM) a licensed commercial property management company in 2007 and Focus Development in 2010. These businesses all work together to develop, build & manage real estate projects. Koellner is also involved in the community as a member of the Board of the Scott County Housing Council, the Board of The Bettendorf Development Corporation, a Rotary Member and a member of The International Council for Shopping Centers.
