Behind WITHIN’s eclectic style is a talented team led by owner Michelle Blunk. The designers put their years of experience, artful vision and a personal touch to work for you. The WITHIN showroom is a palette of color and texture that invites the customer to look closer.

“Everyone who works here understands our value, what we believe in, what we want to pursue,” says Michelle.

This team has fun, no doubt about it. Whether it’s the twice-a-year reset in the showroom – well-documented on Facebook and Instagram – or monthly staff events like putting goodie bags together in February to surprise strangers during Random Acts of Kindness Week, the WITHIN team brings a warmth and enthusiasm to their work.

And they’d like YOU to get the chance to see them in action.

“This is not just a place where you come here, you do the work and you leave,” Michelle says. “We want our people to enjoy being at work.”

And the WITHIN staff wants those who come through the front door to enjoy their experience.

As you walk through the door with the distinctive awning overhead, “You can think about what your room can be, or you might see that one thing that inspires you,” Michelle says.

Maybe it’s a piece of art or a lamp or a new sofa.

“We leave you to linger,” Michelle says. “You can really give some thought to engaging us or buying something.”

She emphasizes that there are items of many price points offered in the showroom to appeal to all shoppers. There’s a slogan on WITHIN’s website at www.withinbycdi.com that reinforces this: “We don’t showcase just one style, we showcase everyone’s styles!”

“You have to give us a try because you won’t be disappointed,” she says. “The talent we have here, the selection we have here … you will be floored by the experience you have. There’s nothing we can’t help you with. If it doesn’t fit your budget, tell us. We’ll figure out something else.”

Sometimes, that “something else” is at Michelle’s business next door, Once Again Furniture, which offers quality consignment and discounted designer furniture and accessories.

“We’ll take someone to the consignment side, if we feel it will work for them,” she said.
